Andrew McCutchen exits after hit by pitch Sunday

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen left Sunday's game after being hit on the hand by a pitch. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Despite the pitch actually being ruled a foul ball, McCuthen left the game with left-hand discomfort and is currently being evaluated by the Pirates' training staff. The veteran returned to Pittsburgh this winter on the heels of a 2022 campaign that saw him hit 17 home runs alongside eight stolen bases in 134 games with the Brewers. The 36-year-old will see action in the corner outfield spots as well as designated hitter and could provide some fringe fantasy value with a solid mix of power and speed.
