Seattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell is "probably three weeks away" from having a bat in his hand according to manager Scott Servais. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The 25-year-old Trammell was hit in the hand by a pitch during a workout before spring training and broke the hamate bone in his right hand in the process. He's appeared in a combined 94 games over the last two seasons, showing solid power with eight homers and 16 doubles in that time, good for a quality .202 isolated power. However, he's also hit just .174 in that time with a monstrous 36.6% K-rate in his young career. Trammell will need to drastically cut down on the punchouts if he's in search of a promotion upon his return to health.
