Garrett Mitchell (hamstring) working towards return

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell will miss the next few games with a right hamstring strain. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Garrett was initially injured on a groundout last Thursday and will sit out through at least March 14 before potentially returning to action. Likely the club's Opening Day center fielder if healthy, Mitchell appeared in 28 games with the Brewers last season, impressing with a .311 average, two homers, eight steals, and an .832 OPS across 68 trips to the plate. He did strike out in 41.2% of his plate appearances but should win the starting center field job to at least kick off the 2023 campaign.
