Detroit Tigers infielder Andy Ibanez has returned to spring action following an injury to his left ring finger. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Ibanez returned to the Tigers' lineup Saturday against the Cardinals, going hitless with a strikeout across three plate appearances. Barring any setbacks, Tigers skipper A.J. Hinch said Ibanez would rejoin Team Cuba for their World Baseball Classic semifinal in Miami. Ibanez appeared in 40 games for the Texas Rangers last season, hitting just .218 with one homer, three stolen bases, and a .550 OPS across 128 trips to the plate. He was in competition for third-base reps for the Tigers but his injury has set him back in that conversation.
