James Paxton (hamstring) resumes mound work Saturday

by Brenton Kemp | Dodgers Correspondent | Sat, Mar 18th 6:01pm EDT

Boston Red Sox pitcher James Paxton resumed mound work on Saturday for the first time since injuring his hamstring in a March 3 start. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

The oft-injured left-hander threw 25 pitches off a mound while using his entire arsenal. He's set for at least one more mound session and two live batting practice sessions before returning to game action but will begin the season on the injured list. Injuries have been a constant throughout Paxton's career as he missed the entire 2022 season and has pitched just 21 2/3 innings over the last three seasons.
