Kyle Tucker has reportedly received a four-year offer from the New York Mets. While no details on salary has been revealed, it's the latest attempt from the Mets to sign one of this year's prized free agents. (Mike Puma on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The Mets have ramped up their efforts this week to sign Tucker. It was reported early this week that New York had an offer of three years within the $120-$140 million range. Later, there was a $50 AAV offer on the table from the Mets, but with no length to that report. Now, the latest is the four-year offer with no reported AAV. The four-time All-Star batted .266 last season with 22 home runs and 25 stolen bases in 136 games with the Cubs. It currently appears that the Mets are the leaders in the clubhouse to sign Tucker, but regardless of where he lands, it seems like his days as a free agent are numbered.
