Fantasy Impact:
It's now official that Alvarez will begin the season at Triple-A Syracuse. The 21-year-old backstop is not only one of the Mets' top prospects but among the most hyped in the entire league. He got into five MLB games in 2022, going 2 for 12 at the plate with a homer and a double. Alvarez should be called back up to the show at some point this summer. He is one to keep stashed in nearly all formats.
