The Atlanta Braves have optioned pitcher Mike Soroka to Triple-A. (Atlanta Braves on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The move was expected as Soroka has been hampered by a hamstring injury that put him behind this spring. Soroka hasn't pitched since the 2020 season due to a pair of Achilles tears but has dominated to the tune of a 2.86 ERA across 37 career MLB starts. Still just 25, the right-hander has allowed one earned run in 1 1/3 innings this spring and will head to the minors to build up some stamina while looking to complete a long journey back to the big leagues.
