Brubaker is dealing with elbow and forearm discomfort in his throwing arm, which is "more than likely" to land the righty on the IL according to Pirates manager Derek Shelton. Brubaker finished second on the Pittsburgh pitching staff with 144 innings in 2022, posting a 4.69 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 22.8 K% over 28 starts.
