Fantasy Impact:
Mondesi had been working out throughout spring training, but will ultimately need some extended time on the IL before he is ready to go as he recovers from ACL surgery. He can return in late May, but it's unclear how long he will need to actually get back out there. Christian Arroyo will likely be the opening day second baseman.
