Corbin Burnes allowed four hits, three walks, and four earned runs over five innings in a Thursday loss to the Cubs. Burnes recorded three strikeouts in the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
The Cubs tallied all four runs in the third earning off of Burnes. The 28-year-old struggled in his Opening Day start in 2022 against the Cubs before turning in an excellent 2022 campaign. Burnes should see his next start lineup against the Mets next week.
