Solak, once a highly-touted prospect, has scuffled since an impressive 33-game debut back in the 2019 season. The 28-year-old's bat has been at least 11% worse than the league average in each of the last three seasons, as per wRC+, while he hit just .207 with three homers, three steals, and a .635 OPS across 35 games with the Texas Rangers last season. He's been optioned to Triple-A to begin his Braves tenure.
