With the Giants using plenty of right-handed bats against lefty Steven Matz, Crawford will take a seat Wednesday. He is off to a very slow start this season, hitting just .154 with three homers, two stolen bases, and a .544 OPS across 72 trips to the plate. Thairo Estrada will take over at short and hit second Wednesday night.
