Brandon Crawford went a combined 1-for-6 with a solo home run in the Giants doubleheader against the Padres on Friday.
Fantasy Impact
Crawford only notched one hit in his six at-bats between the two games, which was a solo home run off Chris Paddack in the second inning of Game 1. The veteran shortstop has had a mini resurgence for the Giants this year with a .262/.335/.463 batting line to go along with seven home runs and 26 RBI across 164 at-bats.
Brandon Crawford went 2-for-5 with a double, grand slam, four RBI, and two runs as the Giants walloped the A's 14-2 on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Crawford crushed a J.B. Wendelken offering for a grand slam to put San Francisco up 8-0 in the blowout. He also doubled in the contest and scored a pair of runs. The shortstop has been on fire in September with a .318/.367.659 with three home runs and 13 RBI. He's worth a hot hand add in the final week of the regular season.
Brandon Crawford went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk in the Giants 6-0 shutout loss to the A's on Friday.
Fantasy Impact
Crawford's 10th double of the season was the Giants only extra-base hit on a night when Chris Bassitt and the Oakland pen were on their game. The 33-year old shortstop has put together a resurgent year in the bay, slashing a career high .279/.350/.457 with five home runs and 19 RBI across 140 at-bats. With shortstop being as deep of a position as it is, though, he's only valuable in deeper NL-only leagues.
Brandon Crawford went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, one RBI, and two runs scored as the Giants trounced the Mariners 9-3 on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Crawford smashed a pair of doubles off Seattle starter Ljay Newsome in his first two at-bats before taking Brandon Brennan deep in the top of the seventh for his fifth home run of the year. Crawford is crushing the ball in September with a .324 batting average and a .979 OPS to go along with two home runs and eight RBI over 34 at-bats. He's putting together a decent season overall, too, with a .281/.349/.459 batting line with five homers and 18 RBI (135 at-bats). He really only has value in deeper NL-only leagues, though, due to the fantasy depth at the shortstop position.
Brandon Crawford went a combined 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in the Giants' Sunday doubleheader against the Padres.
Fantasy Impact
Crawford was the only Giant to pick up a hit in both games as Mike Clevinger and Garrett Richards, respectively, were dealing for the Padres. This was a day to forget for SF as they try and hold on to the eighth playoff seed in the National League. Crawford has turned his season around after a strong finish to August and a solid September. The Shortstop is now slashing .269/.340/.415 with four homers and 17 RBI across 130 at-bats.
