Shortstop Brandon Crawford went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in the Giants' 7-1 win over the Padres on Saturday.
Crawford wasted no time in this one and he parked a three-run jack off of Joe Musgrove on the first pitch he saw in the bottom of the second inning. The 34-year-old shortstop now has four home runs over his last eight games and is rocking a .855 OPS with seven home runs on the season. He hit eight during the shortened-2020 season.

Crawford took Jon Gray deep in the top of the second inning for his sixth homer of the season. He's working on a modest three-game hitting streak but has gone deep in 2-of-3 games. The 34-year-old got off to a dreadful start this season but has shown signs of life lately. He's currently slashing .244/.337/.500 with six home runs, 14 RBI, and three stolen bases over 78 at-bats.
Shortstop Brandon Crawford went 0-for-1 at the plate before leaving Friday's game early after being struck by a Yu Darvish 96 mph sinker in the fifth inning.
Crawford stayed in the game to run the bases after the HBP but was replaced by Mauricio Dubon in the bottom half of the frame when the Giants defense took the field. It's unclear if Crawford will any time at this point but the Giants should provide an update soon.

Crawford hit his fourth home run of the season off Daniel Bard, a solo shot, in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie the game at 4-4. The Giants would still go on to lose in extra innings, though. The 34-year-old had missed the last three games with a rib injury and a quad issue but looks to be healthy now. He's got a rough .217/.260/.420 batting line over 69 at-bats this year but he does have four home runs and 10 RBI.

Crawford capped off what was a wild first inning with a two-run dinger off Luis Castillo. It was the fourth home run of the inning as Cincinnati hit two two-run home runs in the top of the frame while San Francisco returned the favor in the bottom half. It was Crawford's only hit of the night. He does have three home runs and eight RBI in the early part of the season but he's batting a meager .171/.237/.486 over 35 at-bats.
