Eric Hosmer went 1-for-4 at the plate for the Cubs Thursday, belting a solo home run in a 5-2 win over the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Hosmer has offered minimal production of late for the Cubs, driving in runs in three of his last six games for the club. The veteran slugger's best days seem to be behind the 33-year-old, batting .231 with seven runs scored, two home runs, and 12 runs batted in so far this season.
