Matt Brash earns first career save Sunday
by Ari Koslow | Mariners Correspondent | Mon, May 1st 2:18am EDT
Matt Brash recorded the save on Sunday against the Blue Jays, working around one hit to toss a scoreless inning with two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
Brash entered the game in the 10th inning with the Mariners leading 10-8. He was able to work around a jam with runners on the corners and one out to help the Mariners avoid the sweep against Toronto. Brash has had a handful of disappointing appearances this season but he should continue to work in high leverage situations out of the Mariners bullpen, especially while Andres Munoz (shoulder) remains sidelined.
