Josh Jung finished 2-for-4 with two hits, a walk, five RBIs, three runs scored, and a grand slam in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Yankees.
Jung is cementing himself as a near-must-roster player this season. The youngster is locked into the five-spot in the lineup and is the everyday third baseman. With veterans like Marcus Semien, Nathaniel Lowe, and Adolis Garcia batting in front of him every day, and Jonah Heim right behind him, there are plenty of counting-stat opportunities for Jung. On the year, he is slashing .270/.324/.500 with six home runs, 21 RBIs, 18 runs scored, and one steal. If you roster the breakout star, continue to start him with confidence in all formats.
