Jake Bauers plays long ball Wednesday

by Brenton Kemp | Brewers Correspondent | Thu, May 4th 10:17am EDT

New York Yankees first baseman/outfielder Jake Bauers hit his first homer of the season in Wednesday's win over the Guardians.

Fantasy Impact:

Bauers, who has been dealing with a knee injury, got back into the starting lineup Wednesday and clubbed a solo homer off of Guardians ace Shane Bieber. With the Yankees dealing with several injuries, Bauers is getting his chance after hitting .304 with nine homers, five stolen bases, and a monstrous 1.245 OPS across 87 plate appearances at Triple-A.
