David Peterson is traveling to Cincinnati in the event Max Scherzer is unable to make his scheduled Tuesday start. (Mike Mayer on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Peterson was slated to start for Triple-A Syracuse, but is with the Mets in the event they need a starter. Scherzer is dealing with back tightness and is focused on managing it and staying on turn in the rotation. Fantasy managers will have to wait closer to game time to see if the Mets make a roster move to add Peterson to the active roster.
