Esteury Ruiz went 1-for-4 at the plate on Friday, recording a single and striking out once.

The outfielder was able to make an impact on the basepaths, however, swiping his 26th bag of the season. Despite Ruiz's efforts, the Athletics fell to the Astros 5-2. On the season, Ruiz is hitting .274 with one home run, 22 RBI, and 23 runs scored. He's also been a threat on the basepaths, stealing 27 bases in 53 games played.
