It's a busy day on the injury front for the Tigers as ace Eduardo Rodriguez was also placed on the IL with a finger injury. The 26-year-old Vierling is hitting .241 with four homers, four stolen bases, and a .649 across 175 trips to the plate. Infielder Tyler Nevin and pitcher Braden Bristo were promoted from Triple-A Toledo in corresponding moves.
