Wander Franco is getting a rare day off as it's Walls who will man shortstop and hit eighth in his absence. Walls is enjoying a big bounce-back season as he's hitting .248 but with seven homers, 14 stolen bases, and an .833 OPS across 43 appearances on the campaign. He'll take on Cubs left-hander Justin Steele Wednesday afternoon at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
