Hayes had a big night at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double and a home run while driving in four runs to lead the Pirates to a 7-5 victory over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
The 24-year-old third baseman has struggled at the plate this season, but Friday's performance could be a sign of things to come for the talented youngster. Hayes' season-long batting average now sits at .231 with three home runs and 23 RBI in 54 games played.
