Justin Verlander allows four runs in short outing versus Braves

by Chris Schommer | Fri, Jun 9th 7:15am EDT

Justin Verlander struggled in his start against the Braves on Thursday, allowing seven hits and four walks while striking out three over just three innings of work, resulting in four earned runs.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite his efforts, the Braves were able to come out on top with a final score of 13-10. Verlander's season-long stats have been lackluster, with a 4.85 ERA and 1.33 WHIP over seven games started, but his 2.54 strikeout-to-walk ratio and 0.283 BABIP suggest that he may be due for some positive regression.
