Matthew Liberatore has been placed on the 15-day IL due to lower back tightness, retroactive to August 19th. (St. Louis Cardinals on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Liberatore was initially given a few extra days rest between starts due to back pain, but now the Cardinals have decided he needs an IL stint to get right. Jacob Barnes has had his contract selected and joins the 40-man roster.
