The Blue Jays placed Erik Swanson on the 15-day IL with thoracic spine inflammation. (Blue Jays on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Swanson was removed from his relief appearance Saturday and underwent an MRI that revealed the spine inflammation. The team has yet to release a timetable for his rehab and potential return. The Blue Jays have called up Jay Jackson from Triple-A Buffalo.
