German Marquez and the Rockies have agreed on a two-year, $20 million contract extension. (Jeff Passan on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Marquez underwent Tommy John surgery this year and will likely be out for most of the 2024 season, but the Rockies lock up the veteran starter regardless. He had a $16.5 million option for 2024, but will now make $10 million in each of the next two years with an additional $10 million in performance incentives.
