Hernandez didn't appear in Thursday's series finale against the Tigers but will return to take on Giants rookie Kyle Harrison on Thursday. The veteran has improved at the plate since a mid-season trade back to the Dodgers as he's hitting .259 with three homers and a stolen base across 45 games with L.A. this season.
