The St. Louis Cardinals have placed third baseman Nolan Arenado on the 10-day injured list due to lower back spasms. (St. Louis Cardinals on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The injury list placement will effectively end Arenado's season, his third with the Cardinals. After enjoying a career year in 2022, Arenado took a step back across the board in 2023, hitting .266 with 26 home runs, three stolen bases, and a .774 OPS across 144 games played on the campaign.
