Fantasy Impact:
Rivas was one of three Pirates claimed off waivers by other clubs on Thursday as the team clears 40-man roster spots. The 27-year-old hit .229 with three homers and a stolen base in 48 games for the Pirates and Padres in 2023 while also hitting a hefty .332 with nine homers and eight steals in 58 games at Triple-A with the Padres.
