Fantasy Impact:
Marcano was one of three Pirates position players claimed off waivers on Thursday as the club clears out 40-man roster spots. The 24-year-old hit .233 with three homers and five stolen bases in 75 games with the Pirates while also hitting .422 with one homer and three steals in 11 games at Triple-A.
