Fantasy Impact:

Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski told the media he has spoken to Bryce Harper and the plan is for the slugger to play everyday at first base in 2024. Harper started every game of his 2023 season at either first base or designated hitter after returning in early May from Tommy John surgery. He hit .293 with 21 home runs and 11 stolen bases in 126 appearances in 2023. With Harper at first base and Kyle Schwarber to receive the bulk of DH duties, it's unlikely the club will bring back free agent first baseman Rhys Hoskins who missed the entire 2023 season following a spring training ACL tear.
