It was also reported on Thursday that Burleson's teammate in St. Louis, Brendan Donovan, is also being pursued by the Yankees. The 24-year-old outfielder was below average at the plate in 2023, hitting .244 with eight homers and three stolen bases alongside a .690 OPS across 107 games and 347 trips to the plate.
