LaRoche only has a .189 batting average in the second half and 12 home runs and 44 RBI for the season, showing that he is far from the player who had 26 home runs and 92 RBI a season ago. He has an abysmal .387 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season, with only three doubles, and has a .645 OPS for the season. His .847 OPS in May was the only month where he had an OPS over .700 and he is not worthy of a fantasy roster position.
