Mason Englert designated for assignment by Tigers

The Detroit Tigers have designated right-hander Mason Englert for assignment. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The move was made in order to clear a 40-man roster spot for the newly signed Jack Flaherty. Englert posted a 5.40 ERA in 12 outings with the Tigers in 2024 but also worked to a tidy 3.08 ERA across 32 outings in the minors.
