Drew Thorpe (elbow) progressing in recovery but still limited

White Sox manager Will Venable said Wednesday that Drew Thorpe (elbow) "continues to progress," but he has yet to be cleared to throw breaking balls in bullpen sessions, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Fantasy Impact:
Thorpe is still working his way back from offseason surgery to remove a bone spur from his right elbow and has already dealt with multiple setbacks. While his recovery is moving forward, he won’t be ready for Opening Day and still needs to prove he can mix in breaking pitches before facing live hitters. The 23-year-old remains a name to watch for later in the season but will need to show consistent health before factoring into Chicago’s plans.
