Fantasy Impact:
Church sat out much of 2024 with a right shoulder strain but is back, hitting the upper 90s this spring—two runs and a 5:1 K:BB across three Cactus League innings. Chris Martin and Robert Garcia are ahead in the saves race, yet Bochy sees Church closing “sometime down the road,” maybe even at camp’s end. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues should keep him on the radar; a breakout could snag him save chances.
