The Mets reassigned Luis De Los Santos to minor-league camp Monday, per team updates, despite Jeff McNeil’s oblique injury opening infield chances this spring. (New York Mets)

De Los Santos fell behind Brett Baty, Luisangel Acuña, and Donovan Walton for a Mets infield spot, even with McNeil’s IL stint, and is set for Triple-A Syracuse in 2025. The 26-year-old will log regular at-bats there. Fantasy managers in dynasty leagues might stash him, hoping his multi-position skills earn a midseason call-up if New York’s infield thins out.
