Bailey Ober allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings in Thursday's loss to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Ober now has a 7.11 ERA and 1.74 WHIP with 0 wins and 1 loss across three starts this season. Not exactly the start fantasy managers were hoping for, but maybe one that was expected. In Ober's first start in 2024, he gave up eight runs in 1.1 innings. That is to say, fantasy managers shouldn't be worried long term. Ober gets the New York Mets next time out.
