Aaron Bummer placed on bereavement list

Left-hander Aaron Bummer was placed on the bereavement list Friday. He is expected to miss at least this weekend's series but could potentially rejoin the team early next week. Zach Thompson was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. (Atlanta Braves)
