JR Ritchie limits Cubs into the fifth inning Wednesday night
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Thu, May 14th 9:20am EDT
JR Ritchie gave up one run on just two hits and three walks while striking out four over 4 1/3 innings in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Starting for the first time since May 4, Ritchie dropped his ERA to a strong 3.32 with Wednesday's effort. The rookie continues to be a bit erratic with his control, but he managed to limit another strong lineup despite that. Ritchie has struck out 17 over 21 2/3 innings while holding opponents to a .208 AVG and inducing a 43.3% groundball rate.
