Hanifee worked 1.1 innings in Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers, giving up two unearned runs on three hits. Despite posting a 2.25 ERA and 1.13 WHIP over eight innings this season, he’ll be sent down to the minors to clear a roster spot for Keider Montero, who is set to start Wednesday’s game.
