Royals starter Michael Lorenzen (1-3) took the loss Thursday night against the Tigers, allowing four runs on seven hits over 4.2 innings. He walked three and struck out three. Lorenzen yielded a two-run double to Spencer Torkelson and two RBI singles to Riley Greene. He generated seven swinging strikes on 102 pitches (23% CSW).
