Jimmy Herget avoids arbitration with Rockies

Fantasy Impact:
Herget enjoyed his best season at the big league level in 2025 when he pitched to a 2.48 ERA with 81 strikeouts in 83.1 innings with Colorado. The righthander has pitched with five different teams in parts of seven seasons and has a 3.17 career ERA in 238.1 innings. Herget has had trouble finding a home, but he appears to have one with the Rockies. The veteran is rumored to possibly convert to a starter in 2026, so his spring will be one to watch in Colorado.
