Josh Grosz traded to Diamondbacks for Jake McCarthy

Josh Grosz has been traded from the Colorado Rockies to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange speedy outfielder, Jake McCarthy. (Bob Nightengale on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Grosz, who was drafted by the Yankees in the 11th round of the 2023 MLB Draft, ended up with the Rockies prior to last year's trade deadline. The righthander spent the 2025 season in High-A with both organizations and combined to go 5-14 with a 4.67 ERA in 125.1 innings. Grosz has a career ERA of 4.26 in 247 minor league innings and will continue pitching in the minors with the Diamondbacks' organization in 2026.
