by Bruno Mulé | Sat, Apr 19th 2:02pm EDT
Eugenio Suárez snapped a homerless drought Friday against the Cubs, launching a grand slam off Porter Hodge in the eighth inning for his sixth long ball of the season. He finished the game 1-for-5 with one run scored, four RBI, and one strikeout. It was his first homer since April 1.
Fantasy Impact:
The grand slam gave Suárez six homers and 15 RBI on the season, though he is slashing just .153/.266/.444 through 79 plate appearances. His power output (six homers, three doubles) remains significant despite the low average and high strikeout rate (34.2%).
