Brad Lord struggles in short outing against Mets
by Chris Schommer | Nationals Correspondent | Sun, Apr 27th 8:14am EDT
Brad Lord allowed two earned runs on five hits and no walks while striking out three over four innings in Saturday's loss to the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Lord has struggled to provide manager Dave Martinez with an innings-eating option, failing to reach the fifth inning in each of his four starts on the mound. The right-hander will need to turn things around to be considered a viable option in lineups for fantasy managers as the season moves forward. After today’s performance, Lord's season stats now include a 4.67 ERA and 1.73 WHIP with an 0-3 record across four starts.
