Joshua Palacios hits first career leadoff homer

Joshua Palacios hit his first career leadoff home run Sunday against the Athletics, finishing the game 2-for-4. He scored one run, drove in one RBI, and struck out once. The solo homer, his first of the season, came off Osvaldo Bido to start the game.
Fantasy Impact:
Since his recall on April 10, Palacios is slashing .222/.317/.306 with Sunday's homer being his first, adding three RBI and four runs through 41 plate appearances. The 29-year-old outfielder has lately been the strong side of a platoon with Michael Taylor since Mike Tauchman (hamstring) is on the injured list.
