Brad Lord (1-3) picked up his first career MLB victory Thursday against the Phillies. He allowed two runs on six hits and one walk over 5.1 innings, striking out four. The runs scored on RBI singles in the fifth and sixth innings. Lord generated just six swinging strikes on 69 pitches.
