Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts sounded more optimistic about Teoscar Hernandez on Wednesday, saying he’s hopeful the outfielder will return from the 10-day IL in two weeks. (Sonja Chen on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Hernandez landed on the 10-day IL Tuesday with a Grade 1 strain of his left adductor. The diagnosis is relatively positive, as the strain is considered mild, but a clearer return timeline will come once he resumes baseball activities. Assuming no setbacks, he should be back before the end of May. In the meantime, look for James Outman, Hyeseong Kim and Tommy Edman to rotate through the outfield in his absence.
